About Us

I would like to take the time to introduce our sanctuary to you. We have been breeding birds, primates and other exotics for almost 20 years. In this time we have rescued many unwanted and neglected animals as well. In 2005 we officially became the Tropical Rain-forest Preserve Inc. A solely non-profit organization specializing in South American species. Our mission is to raise awareness about the destruction of the Amazon Rain-forest and the animals, Primates and Birds that are disappearing at an alarming rate. We hope by offering educational programs for private and special events,small groups and school children we can share the miracle of one of the most beautiful places on earth.Maintaining our animals and birds is a costly endeavor. Many animals and primates come to us needing veterinarian care, special handling, caging and food. So in order to support our facility we offer products for the exotic pet trade. All profits are used in caring for these animals.
